Dhurandhar 2 trailer set for early March launch; Ranveer Singh’s fierce ‘Lyari’s King’ avatar to storm Eid box office
The buzz around Dhurandhar 2 is steadily reaching fever pitch. After the historic box office run of the first installment, the team is now preparing to drop the much-anticipated trailer — and it’s arriving sooner than expected.
According to Pinkvilla, the trailer of the Ranveer Singh-fronted action spectacle will be unveiled in the first week of March, around March 5. The timing is strategic, giving the film a clear runway to build anticipation before its grand Eid release.
“The scale of the second part surpasses the first film in every aspect...from action to emotions and world-building. The team has expanded it like never before, and the trailer will give audiences a solid glimpse into the evolved world of Dhurandhar,” revealed an insider.
The trailer is expected to showcase fresh landscapes and unexplored layers of the narrative, hinting at a darker and more intense chapter in the franchise.

“Ranveer Singh is undoubtedly the highlight of the trailer. His screen presence and physical transformation as Lyari’s King is being raved about internally. He brings a certain gravitas that will elevate the sequel to another level,” the source added.
The promo has reportedly been cut in a way that amplifies impact without divulging key plot twists — a move designed to retain intrigue while delivering cinematic high points.
On the global front, the film raked in Rs 1,354.84 crore, including Rs 299.35 crore from overseas territories. It now stands just behind Dangal in the list of highest-grossing Bollywood films worldwide, and also claimed the record for the highest Bollywood earnings in North America with $20.65 million.
Mounted on a reported budget of Rs 225 crore, the film generated profits of Rs 669.49 crore, delivering an impressive ROI of 297.55 percent. It marked a career-best grosser for its principal cast — Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan and Arjun Rampal — as well as filmmaker Aditya Dhar.
