Celebs review 'Dhurandhar 2'
Much like the fans, these celebs left the theatres singing praise of the film starring Ranveer Singh in the lead and directed by Aditya Dhar. Allu Arjun was among the first to give his review, calling it “a film that will make every patriot proud” and praising leading man Ranveer Singh while also commending director Aditya Dhar for “hitting it out of the park.”
Vijay Deverakonda, who attended a preview screening, predicted, “Something big is going to happen in Indian cinema and culture.” He also hailed Dhar as a “mad genius” and called Ranveer's performance “explosive.”
Preity Zinta joined the chorus while admitting that words fell short as she was still processing the film. "Just watched Dhurandhar 2 & all I wanna say is 'Revenge ho toh Dhurandhar jaisa ho warna na ho' Direction, Acting, music, editing, story, casting & every other department is MINDBLOWING The first thing mom said after watching the movie was that she wanted to see it again in the Theater with her friends & I feel exactly the same," she wrote in her tweet.
Joining the B-town brigade, Ananya Panday, who was spotted late last night, leaving a screening, reserved her review for her Instagram post that read, "Blown away!!!! Beast!!!! @ranveersingh."
Kartik Aaryan, on the other hand, also shared a picture of the big screen and wrote, "Dhurandhar: The Revenge is top notch. Aditya Dhar has created an unforgettable cinema experience and Ranveer Singh delivers a storm. A must watch."
Shanaya Kapoor, gave a one-word review, simply writing, "Mind blown."
Director Madhur Bhandarkar also joined the hype wagon, with his tweet, praising the film, its director and leading man. He wrote, "Last night I saw the epic 3 hrs 49 minute ride that is Dhurandhar 2, and my head is still spinning. This is the blueprint for how to conquer a high-stakes sequel. Filmmaker @AdityaDharFilms vision is electrifying in every frame, the pace is non-stop, and you can’t catch your breath for a second. The whole cast nails it, but @RanveerOfficial is in a league of his own. I’m at a loss for words his performance is just flawless. He doesn’t just act; he becomes the character with ferocious conviction. He deserves a National Award hands down."
With strong word-of-mouth from industry insiders and celebrity backing, 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge' has already made a splash at the domestic box office, grossing an impressive Rs 50 crore haul from just preview shows. With March 19 officially registered as the official release date, it remains to be seen just how much the film will collect and if it can go the distance and cross the Rs 1,000 crore mark at the box office.Get the latest entertainment updates from the Times of India, along with the
