Golden Days: When Dharmendra, the ‘He-Man’ of Bollywood took his shirt off in ‘Phool Aur Patthar’ as an act of kindness

Recognizing the impact it could have on his character's portrayal, Dharmendra proposed the idea to the director, OP Ralhan, foreseeing that it would resonate with audiences and shape the perception of his on-screen persona. Little did he know that this noble act would become synonymous with his image as the "He-Man of the Indian film industry."
