‘Devara’ stars Jr. NTR and Saif Ali Khan try their hand at Punjabi and Bhojpuri

Actors Jr. NTR and Saif Ali Khan have teamed up recently for the action flick 'Devara', and audiences were delighted to see both of them trying their hand at speaking Punjabi and Bhojpuri.


He also spoke a phrase in Punjabi, which translates to, “You wreak havoc with just a single glance.” Funnily enough, both these dialogues were meant to compliment veteran actress Archana Puran Singh.

Next came the turn of Telugu superstar Jr. NTR, who was asked to say a love dialogue to Archana Puran Singh in Punjabi. Jr. NTR initially hesitated, expressing his respect for the actress, and said, “I can’t even call her Archana Ji. I remember her as Ms. Briganza,” referring to her character from the SRK-starrer Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

However, Jr. NTR eventually agreed to deliver the romantic dialogue to “Ms. Briganza.” In Punjabi, he humorously rendered a line that translates to, “Ms. Briganza, every time I look at you, I get nightmares.”

On the work front, Devara: Part 1, starring Jr. NTR and Saif Ali Khan are doing well at the box office despite some criticisms. The film is directed by Koratala Siva, known for Janatha Garage.
