for his role in the production and distribution of pornographic content. During his hearing, the Crime Branch asked for 7-day custody of Raj Kundra which was denied by the court. The police also said that Kundra's two bank accounts have been frozen by them. They also said that they have appealed to the victims but only one has come forward till now.

The Crime Branch also told the court that they have found mobile and MacBook chats between Ryan and Kundra, that provide details about revenue and payments from Hotshots app. This controversial application was reportedly used for distribution of adult content. , while Pradeep Bakshi -- a British citizen, who is married to Kundra's sister -- is the Chairman of Kenrin Ltd., London. Both the companies worked on the mobile app called 'HotShots Digital Entertainment', developed by

Kenrin Ltd.

Raj Kundra reportedly supplied the content and controlled the UK firm from his Viaan industries office. According to a report in TOI, Raj Kundra and his team pocketed an average of Rs 5 lakh per movie that was released on mobile applications, including Hotshots. The police have frozen Rs 7.5 crore in various accounts connected to Raj Kundra.



During this hearing, Raj Kundra's lawyer defended that questioning has been done and that all the documents in the case have been submitted and the sections slapped on the accused are not a serious one. The court decided to send them to judicial custody after which his lawyer appealed for bail in the case. Bombay High Court has adjourned Raj Kundra's bail plea hearing till Thursday and has asked the investigating officer of the case to remain present during the hearing. No interim relief was granted to the 45-year-old businessman, who is currently lodged at the Arthur Road Jail.
