Parineetii actor Ankur Verma has taken a five-day break from his busy schedule to be with his parents in Gurgaon. The blazing sun and scorching heat did play spoilsport, but Ankur says he is having a great time with his fam at home. “When you work on a TV show, it gets difficult to take breaks because we have to shoot every day for the daily telecast. Even now, I had to do double shifts to take this break. But it’s manageable when you love your work. Tab overtime bura nahi lagta hai,” he tells us, adding, “I am a winter person, garmi mujhe zyada pasand nahi hai. Par Dilli ki garmi ka bhi alag maza hai. Ice cream kha lo, kulfi kha lo, Delhi has a lot to offer. I am having a great time here.”

‘I am not dating Tanvi’

Ankur’s chemistry with Tanvi Dogra in Parineetii has often triggered rumours about them being in a relationship. However, he tells us that they are only good friends. “We are definitely not dating. We are good friends. Our chemistry on the show is so strong that people think we are dating. Both my co-actors, Tanvi and Aanchal (Sahu), are very talented. They have done many TV shows, and this is my first, so I am learning from them,” he says.
