Delhi Belly could be so far in news for the wrong reasons but it would be a great film of this season.An adult situational comedy it has a great script. The controversy around the film in fact is rooted in the mindset according to which we are hypocrites at heart.We criticise those things which we ourselves do when nobody is looking,”says the actor.
“But at the same time I am not supportive of abusive language which is creeping in our films and songs where the subject of the film does not require it. Where the language is meant to merely titillate the audience that should be objected to .This phase of cinema should be viewed from a different perspective. It is a transitional phase where the film makers are putting their point of view in their own manner without bothering about what people have to say, similar to what happened in West long time back,” says Ashraf
