Speaking with YouTuber Siddharth Kannan, Deepshikha attributed her impulsive decisions during the 1990s to the absence of a godfather in the film industry, hinting that these choices might have had a detrimental impact on her career trajectory.

Deepshikha vividly recounted her encounter with director Rakesh Roshan, who initially offered her the role opposite Salman Khan in the iconic film ‘Karan Arjun’, a part that eventually went to Mamta Kulkarni. Expressing her initial reluctance, she explained, "The first day I met Rakesh Roshan, he offered me 'Karan Arjun.' I immediately said no. I thought if I say no, he will cast my sister, but now I understand that he wanted a petite girl. It was for Mamta Kulkarni’s role. He said okay, and he never asked me why". Rakesh later cast her in a negative role in the film ‘Koyla’, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Madhuri Dixit.

Furthermore, Deepshikha revealed that Anil Kapoor, her idol, offered her a song in ‘Laadla’, comparing her to the iconic Parveen Babi. However, she declined the offer, expressing her desire to star in a film alongside the acclaimed actor. Recalling the incident, she shared, "Anil Kapoor came to me and offered me a song in 'Laadla.' He said you look like Parveen Babi. That song was ‘Ladki hai kya re baba.’ I heard him, and I said no. I said I want to do a film with you".

Regret also lingers around a missed opportunity with Salman Khan in ‘Jaanam Samjha Karo’. While working with Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Baadshah’, Deepshikha was offered a significant role in Salman Khan's film but impulsively rejected it. Reflecting on her past decisions, she acknowledged that she should have thought more deeply before declining such opportunities.

Despite these setbacks in Bollywood, Deepshikha has had a successful career in television, with her last appearances in shows like ‘Na Umra Ki Seema Ho’ and ‘Palkon Ki Chhaon Mein 2’. The actress now looks back at her journey with a mix of reflections on missed chances and accomplishments in the realm of entertainment.
