Deepika Padukone seems to be in the mood for some adventure. After the stunt where she had to fall into a deep watery hole for Lafange Parindey, Deepika decided to do a far more daring stunt for the film.
The scene required her to fly off a speeding motorcycle and fall flat on her face. There was no way director Pradeep Sarkar would let her do this dangerous action scene, but Deepika insisted on performing the stunt and that too without using a body double or a harness.

Considering she had to land on her face, the damage could’ve been serious. The actress laughs and says, “It was scary. Action director Shyam Kaushal forbade me from doing the stunt. I told him there was no way I’d let my body double do it. Nowadays you can’t fool the audience. But once I realised what was required I did get slightly jittery. But I went ahead anyway. I’m a sporty girl. I can take a fall if required.”
And fall she did. Deepika adds that she also plays a very dangerous girl in Ashutosh Gowariker’s film, Khelenge Hum Jee Jaan Se. “I fight with men and I manufacture bombs. All this in the 1930s. It can’t get any more exciting.”
