Deepika Padukone is a still a desi at heart and we have proof
Deepika Padukone is making all the right noises with her Hollywood debut 'xXx: The Return of Xander Cage' where she will be seen opposite Vin Diesel. While she is already a top actress in Bollywood, the dimpled beauty is making a name for herself on the global map too. Deepika recently featured in a video by Vanity Fair magazine, wherein 12 faces from Hollywood's next generation are talking about their fashion
On being asked as to what style meant to her, Deepika said, 'I think you have to feel complete. You need to feel that you are wearing the clothes and the clothes aren't wearing you.'
She also said that she would choose a saree over a gown if given a choice, making it clear that she is still a desi at heart. Deepika had a sweet smile on her face when she said, 'If I had a choice between a gown and a saree, I will wear a saree.'
