The power couple who tied the knot on November 14 and 15 at Villa del Balbianello, Lake Como in Italy, has now been alleged that the Anand Karaj ceremony violated the Sikh code of conduct as the Akal Takht sternly prohibits taking Guru Granth Sahib to a place other than a Gurdwara.


The president of an Italian Sikh organisation has taken up this matter and has taken it further to the Akal Takht Jathedar for further needed action, who in return have responded saying that the matter would be taken to five high priests once they receive the complaint.

Meanwhile, the newly married couple, who have returned back to Mumbai are reported to shift into Deepika's house. DeepVeer are also set to host their receptions in Bangalore as well as Mumbai too.
