Debutant actor Harshvardhan impresses filmmakers

Harshvardhan Deo, who recently made his Bollywood debut with 'Jigariyaa', has won praise from quite a few filmmakers for his performance. Says Rajkumar Hirani, “It’s rare to see newcomers get a break in this industry as fast as Harshvardhan has. He seems to have captured the hearts of many.”

Tigmanshu Dhulia seconds him, stating, “He surrenders himself completely to the character, which is why his vulnerability comes through.”
Prakash Jha, whom the young actor had assisted on Chakravyuh, says, “I’m impressed with the way he has done justice to his talent on screen.” Anubhav Sinha points out, “He is unpretentious and promising, and invests more in the character than being an actor.” Satish Kaushik states, “He cuts through his peers with his rugged personality.”
On his part, the actor, who has been invited to London for a special premiere of the film, says, “I’m humbled by the love that I have received.I can only try to keep doing better and growing every step of the way.”
