David Dhawan opens up about son Varun being compared to Govinda

David Dhawan has been exploring sequels or remakes of some of his successful films with son, Varun in the lead recently. After doing '

2', which is a sequel to Salman Khan-starrer 'Judwaa', the filmmaker is now working on 'Coolie No. 1', which is a remake of own 1995- hit featuring Govinda and Karisma Kapoor. It stars Varun with Sara Ali Khan. The filmmaker has reportedly never been more nervous about a film as he is with this remake. He told a daily that comparisons, which he knows will arise over Govinda and Varun, are unfair.

He reportedly said that no one can equal Govinda and Karisma, who created magic on screen. He, however, adds that Varun and Sara are in a completely different zone. The two pairs, he says, belong to different eras and cannot be compared and that it's like comparing a Bentley with a Porsche. There were reports that stated that Govinda and Karisma will be making guest appearance in the 'Coolie No. 1' remake, however that that hasn't happened.
