Now, the tale of a spooky mall

Jimmy Sheirgill, who has always enjoyed watching horror flicks, will finally be seen in one. He will play the security head of a spooky mall in the upcoming Darr @ The Mall. Says the actor, “I just could not say no to it. The detailing with which the story has been told impressed me.” The film, shot at malls across the city, also features Nushrat Bharucha, Arif Zakaria, Asif Basra, Nivedita Bhattacharya, Shraddha Kaul and Neeraj Sood.
Says NP Singh, COO, Multi Screen Media Pvt. Ltd, “Our director Pavan Kirpalani already has a horror venture (Ragini MMS) to his credit and that works for us.” Abhimanyu Singh, CEO, Contiloe Entertainment Ltd, adds, “After a successful stint in television, it is an interesting challenge to make this genre on celluloid. The supernatural theme has been underexploited in our country.”
