Dalip Tahhil’s multiple roles in 'War Chhod na Yaar'

Dalip Tahhil is essaying four different characters — that of an Indian politician, a Pakistani statesman, a Chinese general and an American senator —- in 'War Chhod Na Yaar', written and directed by Faraz Haider.
He says, "Though I’ve done films with the best in the business, this movie is special because the makers have trusted me with four different characters.One actor enacting multiple roles was imperative for impact. I’m glad Shrikant Bhasi (the producer) and Faraz had faith in me.”
The actor is optimistic about the audience appreciating his act and says, “We’ve seen the late Sanjeev Kumar play nine characters in 'Naya Din Nai Raat'. Even Kamal Haasan essayed 10 roles in 'Dashavtar' and four roles in 'Michael Madana Kama Rajan'. Dilip Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan, too, played triple roles in films…this drama has always intrigued the viewers.”
War Chhod Na Yaar releases October 11.
