Daisy Shah recently performed an act of kindness. The Bollywood actress was in Chandigarh shooting for her upcoming movie ‘See You in Court’ when she came across a puppy in distress. Being an animal lover with two pets of her own, Blessy and Lizzie, a dog and a cat, she could not stand seeing the puppy in pain.
Ensuring it got medical aid and care It happened when she came across a tiny, injured puppy on the sets of her movie and immediately decided she needed to take action to help him.
Without wasting any time, she picked up the puppy and took it to the nearest vet. The puppy was injured and scared but Daisy took care of her, fed her and was there with her at the vet. She also wanted to take the puppy with her to her hotel to care for her, however, unfortunately as hotels so not allow animals she wasn't able to. The actress did the next best thing she could and found an animal welfare NGO to help the animal.
Daisy worked with the Waheguru animal welfare and group of environmentalists that works with injured and abandoned animals and cares for them. She decided to dedicate her time and services to it donated food and medications for the animals. She spent a lot of time at the NGO, meeting their animals and overseeing the recovery of the puppy she had found. With the help of the the organisation, the limping puppy was restored to health and soon started walking again.
She was happy to have helped nurse it back to health. The actress also urges everyone else to keep an eye out for animals and do whatever they can to help them.
