Congress’s tweet on Sridevi’s demise leaves Twitter fuming
NEW DELHI: The Congress party today landed in a soup after it published a tweet condoling the demise of actress Sridevi in which it said that the actress was awarded the Padma Shri by the UPA government in 2013.

Many on social media were left fuming by the last line of the tweet and accused the Congress of showing insensitivity towards her family, friends and fans.
"Sridevi didn't get Padma Shri, Padma Shri won Sridevi," read one tweet suggesting that the legendary actress' stature was even bigger than the national award.
"Now don't blame the PM for her death," read another tweet.
"Cheap politics" shouted the Twitter handle of BJYM.
"Padma Shri is given by the country to its citizen - not by any political party," a user on Twitter pointed the factual inaccuracy in the Congress's tweet.
"It did not take credit for Sridevi living, eating and breathing in Congress-ruled times," another user on Twitter took a swipe at Congress.
Following outrage, the tweet was deleted from social media.

It does appear extremely awkward to be reading about certain pointers by criminal elements of this Dravidian Land (universally known as India) that are by their very nature averse to seeing eye to eye with honest and righteous citizens, communities, folds and parties of the land and at whose behest the most heinous criminals of the land viz. Maoists & Naxalites are surviving as honourable citizens have become a disciplined cadre for show-casing some bravado on the topic of proprielty!. People and criminals including parties, gangs and outfits like BJP, RSS, VHP, Bajrang Dal, Shiv Sena, Ram Sene, Maoists & Naxalites etc for whom righteous citizens and honest members of the land have been a source of repugnance for time immemorial are this day emerging to be categorized as very honest entities and pointing out as to how a party ought to follow the moral ways of condoning the death of a film personality – in the present case being Sri Devi. <br/>It is quite amusing to find how the criminal elements of this Dravidian Land (universally known as India) who are by nature against any secular formation or mode of accompanying the land and its populace are today in the forefront to point out deficits in the wording of condolences or feigning to be masters of morality. <br/>It is indeed amusing how these criminals are exploiting their own horrid minds to venomously provide witty projections by these criminally moulded wretches and atrociously sharpened block-heads to be making a beeline to smother truth at the wordings of condolence flashed by the Secular Party (Indian National Congress) on twitter to mourn with all sincerity at the demise of an actress of Hindi Cinema namely Sri Devi on Sunday the 25th February, 2018 and giving the matter a political touch whereas one fails to understand as to how a truth at that juncture called for a need to be chastened out of an extremely clear-cut fact which conveyed to the public that the award was instituted at the time of the UPA government, over which the criminal elements found certain colour of politics. <br/>Rediculous as it did appear, if the award was given at the time of the UPA government, how come one (or the Party precisely) needed to chasten the wording to refine the contents for satisfying the criminal world so as to read the award was given by the Indian Government? Does it mean that the UPA government did not constitute an Indian Government or that the criminals needed to be satisfied for their mirth to refine a wording. It only makes mockery of the acts, projections and deeds of the criminal world of India’s stature for whom wordings and projections need to sooth their criminal bend of mind. Rediculous it is and surely if India is perspiring from domestic and neighbourly hostilities, then definitely these perspirations have the criminals behind everyone of the incidents that are making India fret time and again.Read allPost comment
