kar diya.' Rishi Kapoor's rant against the Congress party on Twitter riled up party workers in Allahabad so much that they decided to get back at the actor with a vengeance. 'We must name important assets of the country who have contributed to society. Har cheez Gandhi ke naam? I don't agree,' Kapoor had tweeted on Friday last. In retaliation, a group of party workers in Allahabad named a Sulabh toilet in Shivaji Park in Bahadurganj area after the veteran actor. The young party workers put up posters outside the public toilet with photos of Rishi Kapoor.

Abhay Awasthi, spokesperson of UP Congress Committee later said that 'it was a symbolic protest against Kapoor for dragging the name of the Gandhis and creating a controversy'. Awasthi also added, 'We also got to know about it from the media. The actor had even suggested his name among the persons after whom the Indira Gandhi International Airport could be named. Woh (Rishi Kapoor) chahate hain ki kuch unke naam par bhi ho, toh Congress workers ne unke naam par Sulabh Shauchalaya kar diya.'

Irshad Ullah, who led this somewhat unique protest in Allahabad, goes as far as to say that all the toilets in the city should be named after Rishi Kapoor. 'The actor has no right to speak against the Gandhi family, who have sacrificed so much for the country. What has he done for the country?' he adds.

However, Rishi Kapoor refused to comment on the issue.
