'Cocktail 2' wraps up Europe schedule; Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna to begin Delhi shoot next

The highly anticipated romantic drama 'Cocktail 2', starring Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna, has wrapped up its European schedule and is now heading to Delhi for a month-long shoot. The film, directed by Homi Adajania and produced by Dinesh Vijan’s production house, is shaping up to be one of Bollywood’s most awaited sequels.

From Europe to Delhi

According to Pinkvilla, the Cocktail 2 team recently completed filming across several scenic European locations. This includes Sicily, Italy, where the cast was spotted enjoying fun moments between takes.



Following the wrap-up, the crew will now return to India for their next schedule in Delhi, which is expected to continue for about a month. The film’s shoot has been progressing swiftly, with the makers targeting a theatrical release in the latter half of 2026.

Rashmika on working with Shahid and Kriti: “We’re the best gang together”

Speaking to ANI, Rashmika Mandanna expressed her excitement about reuniting with her co-stars for the Delhi schedule. “I love Kriti and Shahid. I feel like we’re the best gang together. Homi sir, whom we’re working with, is also a joy to collaborate with. It’s such a pleasure to work with all of them. I’m very excited to go back to Delhi to start shooting again,” she shared. Rashmika added that she had a wonderful experience filming in Europe and hopes the audience will feel that same warmth and chemistry on screen.

A modern sequel to a 2012 classic

Cocktail 2 is described as a “spiritual sequel” to the 2012 hit Cocktail, which starred Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Diana Penty. The original, also directed by Homi Adajania, explored friendship, love, and self-discovery and became a modern classic upon release.
