After all, the character Chunky Lafanga in the popular serial Goodness Gracious Me was a huge hit. And, filmmaker Kabir Akhtar, who happens to be Farhan Akhtar’s cousin based in Los Angeles, is all set to embark upon a film called India Calling that has Chunky Pandey playing Chunky Lafanga.The film is about the BPO culture in the US and UK and how brilliantly call centres contribute to their economies. It also has Sanjeev Bhaskar in the lead. Now, if Chunky is so adamant to get a copyright on his name, he better get a copyright on the Lafanga, but of it as well.
