Chitrangda Singh talks about her childhood

That Chitrangda Singh comes from an army background is well-known by now. The actress, whose father was in the army, grew up in various parts of the country and credits her mother for raising her and her brother while their father was busy at work. In a recent interview with Bombay Times, Chitrangda said, “My dad was in the army, because of which we as a family were constantly on the move depending on his posting. Hats off to my mother as she made the process of shifting homes look easy. Moving places is a huge responsibility for army wives I remember my mom would pack the entire house, but the kitchen, which she did the last. Once we move into the new apartment she would unwrap and set the kitchen first. Sometimes the furniture used to take time to come. So, my mom would throw pillows and bed sheets on the boxes that are yet-to-be unpacked and convert it into a sofa.”

With shoots coming to a halt in recent weeks due to the rising Covid cases in the country, the actress has been spending a lot of time at home. She recently shared a video of playing with her pet dog and said that it was a great de-stressor to spend time with him.
On the work front, Chitrangda, who was last seen in ‘Ghoomketu’, will be seen next in ‘Bob Biswas’. The film, which was shot predominantly in Kolkata, has Abhishek Bachchan playing the title role.
