Chitrangada's just a good friend: Mishra

A source close to Sudhir informs,“Though Sudhir is a very shy man in life, when it comes to Chitrangada hisfascination with her is quite obvious. During the shoots he caters to all herwhims and fancies. Chitrangada is very fond of momos from China House and Sudhirmakes sure that she gets them.Besides that whenever Chitrangada isin town, both go out to dinner. He mostly drops her to the airport. At times hedrops everything else to be with her. There are pictures of only two women atSudhir’s office-one of his late wife Renu Saluja and the other is ofChitrandaga.”Sudhir insists that it’s a platonicrelationship. He says, “It’s a great friendship of an actor and adirector. It’s very interesting that she goes back to her own house andshe has another life.” Does he feel his fascination could cause problemsin her married life? “Not at all. I know Jyoti very well.He isa star and is not going to take any rubbish. In fact, when we did Hazaron Iasked her to bring Jyoti to the sets. There are no problems between the couple.They are on a holiday as we speak. He never stopped her from working in films.There is a wonderful chemistry there,” says Mishra.So why arethere pictures of only his wife and Chitrangada in his office? “That’s because I was doing Aur Devdas. At my house you will findShiney’s and Soha’s pictures too.” We get thepicture.On being asked those special momos he gets so fussy about,he says, “I take care of everybody. In fact I take her more for grantedand I think she sometimes gets upset with that. I have never been with her toany social occasion. Sometimes when she comes to Mumbai she doesn’thave any time to meet me as she is busy doing other things. So sometimes I maketime and drop her somewhere and on the way we discuss scripts or other importantstuff,” he addsTalking about their relationship, Sudhir says,“I know Chitrangada for seven years. It’s not a boring relationshipat all. We have a lot of fights. She belongs to my group of people. We have alot of differences of opinion. That’s what I like about her because she isa spirited girl with her own mind.”Later in the day, when wewere doing the story, Sudhir was all okay answering our questions.
