Yella okay. Hrithik Roshan beke? Namma Chetan is all set to create chindi chitranna with the make-over that he underwent early this week. The image has been inspired by Hrithiks look in Dhoom 2, and is for his upcoming film being directed by Chaitanya Karehalli. The flick, the actors third, will have him and Chaitanya team up again after their debut, Aa Dinagalu.
Chetan may be just two films old, but hes already established an image with his fans. His looks in both Aa Dinagalu and his latest Birugaali have received a lot of appreciation from the masses. So I wanted to give him a new identity to set him apart from his previous films, says Chaitanya.
The role also called for this hosa look since Chetans playing an assassin. But we couldnt afford to go overboard and make him look really mean because Chetan falls in love in the latter half of the film. So while he had to look the part, we also had to ensure that people fall in love with him when he discovers love, explains Chaitanya. It took the team 10 days to decide the right look. We sat down with a graphic designer and gave him various styles to experiment with on Chetan. This gave us an idea of what hed look like with each hairdo; the Hrithik look suited him best, adds the director. Once a professional stylist was called in, Chetans long locks were trimmed and given a slight perm, and styled to make them look naturally unkempt, says Chaitanya.Whats Chetans take? Im loving it and feel like a new person. The look will also help me live the character Im playing, he says.
