ON THE SETS: Chaiti Ghoshal with Badsha Moitra in Shantanur Chobi Chaiti Ghoshal believes in doing things differently. Chaiti reveals more when she says, “Acting is my first love but one has to keep on experimenting and do new things all the time.” In her next telefilm, Shantanur Chobi directed by Suchanda Choudhury, she is paired opposite her favourite co-star Badsha Moitra.
Ask her about their offscreen chemistry and Chaiti quips, “He is a very good friend of mine and people say that we look good together onscreen. He is one of the very few stars with whom I share a comfort zone. I’ve played his
girlfriend and his girlfriend’s mother at the same time.” The story of Shantanur Chobi revolves around a young director (Badsha Moitra) whose sole ambition is to make a good movie. He faces many hurdles in order to fulfill his dreams. He has a 14-year- old kid and an extremely supportive and loving wife. The twist in the tale comes when his wife accidently conceives after 14 years and the couple faces a dilemma about whether to keep the baby or abort it. “The telefilm is based on Sunil Gangopadhyay’s story and is different from all the other works that I’ve done till now. Atanu Ghosh has written the script and I seriously hope that people appreciate the telefilm,” the actor signs off.
