Looks like extravagant wedding ceremonies are taking a backseat, as opposed to what one would expect from celebrities. The most recent is cricket legend Imran Khan, who has caused quite a stir in Pakistan with his hush-hush second marriage.

About the rumours surrounding his remarriage and the hostile reaction it evoked among some of his followers, on December 31, the 62-year-old former Pakistani cricketer-turned-politician tweeted, “The reports of my marriage are greatly exaggerated!” Although, he later defended his decision by stating, “Getting married isn’t a crime.” On January 8, he got married to former British news channel anchor Reham Khan (41) in a low-key ceremony in Pakistan at his residence, which was attended by a handful of friends.Imran was previously married to Jemima ‘Goldsmith’ Khan. This is Reham’s second marriage too. She has three children from her previous marriage.
Virr Das-Shivani Mathur
Actor and comedian Virr Das married girlfriend, Shivani Mathur in a private ceremony in Sri Lanka on October 19, last year. It took about a month for the news to become public.
