Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon starrer 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya' underwent a crucial round of censorship. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) decided to trim a lovemaking scene in the film, reducing the intimate act by 25%. The censor board specified that 9 seconds of the scene have been censored, shortening the original 36-second sequence to 27 seconds.Additionally, according to Bollywood Hungama, the CBFC ordered an audio modification, replacing the word 'Daru' with 'Drink' in the second half of the movie. Furthermore, the Examining Committee directed the makers to include the anti-smoking static message in more prominent and easily readable Hindi fonts.

Following these alterations, 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya' secured a U/A certificate from the CBFC on February 2, just in time for its Valentine’s week release. The film, directed by debutants Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, has a runtime of 143.15 minutes, translating to 2 hours, 23 minutes, and 15 seconds of romantic and musical storytelling.

Apart from the lead pair of Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, the film features an ensemble cast including Dimple Kapadia, Dharmendra, Rakesh Bedi, and Rajesh Kumar. The movie explores the unique love story between a young man and a humanoid android robot.
