Clowns at an evening of laughter with a social message

Children in the holidays, homebound, lured by the call of TV, Xboxes and Playstations. Deterred by the lack of playing space, the filth, the pollution all around.
Disgruntled at being told to go out and play, they bump into group of jovial clowns led by the genial Jojo. The clowns brighten up their day and convince them to go out and play. But then the children and the clowns encounter villainous character clowns who insist on spitting, making noise and littering.
Social and societal issues will be dealt with, but with a brush of comedy, sprinkles of song, dollops of dance and an air of entertainment. Clowns will portray the value of sharing, the ills of spitting and littering, the ill-effects of noise pollution… and much more.
Tackling them is all in a day’s work though for the clowns. With song, dance, masti, mazaa, comedy and of course a big dose of entertainment, the villains soon learn the error of their ways.
Conceived, directed and produced by Joy Fernandes, Clowns@Play is the funniest way to combat social ills and have a blast with a duration of 1 hour 30 mins (with a 10 minute interval). The cast includes Ayesha Nair, Kiyomi Mehta, Neha Poduval, Vikranth Sharma, Jonina Fernandes, Moyna Rohira, Ansh Mehta, Gia Fernandes, Seerat Hooghan, Devendra Kadam and Joy Fernandes.
