Case against Prateik Babbar for rash driving withdrawn after settlement

A case of rash driving was reportedly registered against Prateik Babbar following an accident on Panaji-Mapusa Highway on Wednesday evening. The complainant, Paulo Correa, claimed that the actor's car, which entered the one-way street, dashed against his scooter, when he was riding with his sister. The accident resulted in a war of words between them. Paulo also alleged that he also used filthy language against them. Goa police seized the car and registered the case under the Motor Vehicles Act. Prateik refused to give his blood sample to the police who wanted to check if he was driving under the influence of alcohol. He later filed a counter complaint against Paulo, claiming that he smashed his car's window-shield, a police official reportedly revealed. A day later, however, both the parties seemed to have reached a settlement and the case registered against the actor was has reportedly been withdrawn.
