Carrying forth the Barjatya baton!
Sooraj Barjatya is a busy man. He is currently guiding his niece Vidhi Kasliwal who brings to the fore her film Isi Life Mein under uncle Sooraj’s guidance
All set to hit the marquee this December, this film has new faces; it’s said to be a fresh, vibrant love story made in the Barjatya style.
Says Sooraj,
Isi Life Mein is all about achieving what we dream of, not being afraid of whether we succeed or fail...
Adds Vidhi, “I have had a strong influence of the two distinct worlds that we’ve set up in the film - the traditional Ajmer family and the modern Mumbai college. My parents are from small towns in India and I have been raised in Mumbai.
My film captures both the aspects of small town values and the metro living. I must thank my uncle Sooraj for his teachings, beliefs, support and his faith. He gave me the freedom to crystallise my vision as well as my family/college life experiences.”
