Can Priyanka Chopra fit into the 'Inside Out 2' Universe? Amy Poehler REACTS

Actress Ananya Panday recently made waves at the 'Inside Out 2' event, starring in a captivating promo. Now, Hollywood diva Amy Poehler who is all set to return as Joy in 'Inside Out 2', has reacted to a question about Priyanka Chopra's debut in the upcoming 'Inside Out' series.

In an interview with News18, Amy Poehler was asked which Bollywood star she thinks could debut in the upcoming 'Inside Out series,' if more of them are produced. When we suggested Priyanka Chopra, she was instantly on board.

When asked Amy if there was any particular Bollywood star she would like to introduce into the Inside Out universe. After considering for a while, Amy inquired if we had any suggestions. When recommended Priyanka Chopra's name, suggesting she could voice the characters of gut feeling or instincts, or perhaps embody the inner sass due to her confident demeanor, Amy nodded in agreement.

Amy added that although confidence isn't technically an emotion, it would be a funny idea for another emotion in the future. She suggested that someone with a really cocky attitude could be amusing and noted that Priyanka has a lot to be confident about.

Meanwhile, Ananya Panday has joined the universe in India. The 'Dream Girl 2' actress has voiced the character Riley, the teenage girl around whom the film is centred, for the Hindi version of the film. The announcement was made last week, with Ananya confessing that she is a fan of the franchise.



For those unaware, 'Inside Out 2, is the sequel to the Oscar-winning 2015 animated film. Directed by Kelsey Mann, the movie is set to hit theatres on June 14, featuring both English and Hindi versions. It stars Joy (Amy Poehler), Sadness (Phyllis Smith), Anger (Lewis Black), Fear (Tony Hale) and Disgust (Liza Lapira) in pivotal roles.
