‘Call Me Bae’ star Ananya Panday cooks Chinese fried rice with Farah Khan; tries Kendal Jenner's vegetable chopping style!
Ananya Panday, who is currently basking in the success of her recently released web series 'Call Me Bae' had a fun day with filmmaker Farah Khan taking some cooking lessons!
The actress appeared on Khan's vlog, where she tried her hand at making Chinese chicken fried rice. Ananya also tried chopping some vegetables for the meal, but chose a rather interesting chopping style. The actress left everyone in splits when she tried cutting carrots the Kendal Jenner way, leaving the cook rather unimpressed. In the lighthearted video, Ananya said that it was the 'most stress' she felt in her life.
Ananya also asked Farah if she could participate in a cooking contest, however, the filmmaker discouraged it. Dad, Chunky Panday also joined them to taste his daughter's meal and was rather surprised by her cooking skills, asking her to continue cooking for them every day. “I will cook if you will pay me for it. Let’s discuss the pagaar (salary) first," Ananya responded.
The ETimes review of the Ananya's new series 'Call Me Bae' states that the drama is "A stylish comedy-drama that stands out by frequently mocking its own absurdities, adding an element of self-aware humour. While the show boasts strong performances and high production values, it doesn’t offer much in the way of new storytelling. Fans of the genre will likely enjoy the ride, but those seeking something fresh may find the series a bit too familiar. Ananya Panday shines as Bella, delivering a relatable performance that anchors the show. Her portrayal of a character who is both vulnerable and stubborn adds depth to the series, making Call Me Bae a guilty pleasure.”
