'Brahmastra': Ayan Mukerji unveils Nagarjuna's fierce look as Anish with his Nandi Astra

Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy starrer 'Brahmastra' is one of the most awaited films of 2022. On Saturday, filmmaker Ayan Mukerji took to his Instagram handle and unveiled the first look poster of Nagarjuna Akkineni.
Announcing the actor’s character Anish from the film, he wrote, "ARTIST ANISH & HIS NANDI ASTRA 💥
When I grow up (finally), I would want to be like Nagarjuna Garu (Nag Sir, to me) - A gentleman with the warmest of hearts!!
He entered the world of Brahmāstra and gave his fierce intensity to our movie; touched our entire crew with his kindness and generosity; and greatly added to our dream - of creating a truly pan-India movie experience with Brahmāstra!
His Nandi Astra, in my opinion, is one of the highlights of our movie!

In the poster, we can see Nagarjuna giving an intense look with his fist in the air, denoting the power that he holds.His hands will be his weapon with the power of 1000 Nandi bulls, the vahana of Lord Shiva.
'Brahmastra' is a mythology-based fantasy film with Ranbir and Alia playing the central characters, Shiva and Isha. During an interview with a news portal, Ayan Mukerji opened up about his film about 'Brahmastra' and called Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt a perfect fit.
Ayan Mukerji stated that a love story is there to talk about and the thing about 'Brahmastra' that people realise right away but he hopes the audience will take away is, that in many ways, in its core. He further added that 'Brahmastra' Part One is also a love story among being many other things.
Accodring to him, Ranbir and Alia are a very natural and nice fit for their roles.
The magnum opus will release theatrically in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada on September 9, 2022.
