What 'Border 2' is about

Another fan asked Varun what audiences could expect from the film. Speaking about its emotional depth, the actor said, “It’s based on the 1971 war, and that, as we all know, was a war filled with a lot of casualties on both sides. There were a lot of sacrifices made by our soldiers to win, so some amazing stories.”

The film revisits the Battle of Longewala from the 1971 India-Pakistan war. Beyond the battlefield, Border 2 also explores multiple perspectives, including those of the Indian Navy and the Indian Air Force.
