The producer recounted a delightful story from the evening, where he disclosed that Raj Kapoor had considered casting Sridevi in his film 'Gungat ke Pat Khol', and had even detailed the plot to her.

As I remember, he had mentioned to me earlier during one of my chats with him, during our regular late evening sessions of chatting about several topics, in fact I was called Cinderella by his family members."

Boney also noted that his mother is visible in the fourth picture, where Raj Kapoor's comment about meeting her is captured, saying, "My mother is also seen in the 4th picture where Raj uncle's comment of him meeting her is there too."
A Love Story
Those unfamiliar with the story might not know that Boney Kapoor and Sridevi's relationship began during the filming of 'Mr. India' in 1987. The couple eventually married in 1996 and had two daughters, Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor. Sadly, Sridevi passed away in 2018 due to an accidental drowning.
