Veteran actress Shabana Azmi celebrated her 75th birthday on September 18 with a lavish party hosted by producer and close friend Boney Kapoor at his Pali Hill residence. The evening saw a glittering gathering of Bollywood’s finest.

Evergreen diva Rekha made a stunning appearance, posing for shutterbugs and turning heads with her unique outfit. The 90s sensation Urmila Matondkar impressed in a chic jumpsuit, adding glamour to the starry affair.

Shabana looked stunning in a maroon flowy ensemble accented with bright red borders and a statement brooch, her minimal accessories and tied-up hairstyle adding to her elegant charm. Javed complemented her in a red kurta paired with a black Nehru jacket, exuding classic festive style. The pair twirled and laughed, radiating pure happiness as the crowd cheered them on.

Born on September 18, 1950, in Hyderabad, Shabana Azmi is the daughter of poet Kaifi Azmi and actress Shaukat Azmi. Married to screenwriter Javed Akhtar, she is the mother of filmmaker Zoya Akhtar and actor-director Farhan Akhtar.
