Designer kurtas to Bollywood music - Here's how Priyanka Chopra has turned Nick Jonas into a truly 'desi munda'

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are celebrating a year of togetherness and in the last one year the couple has left internet drooling over their love. From festivals to enjoying a romantic holiday and even cooking Pasta together, Priyanka and Nick have been celebrating love in more ways than one. While Priyanka totally justifies the ‘Desi Girl’ tag, over the past year we have reasons to believe that PeeCee has changed hubby Nick Jonas also into a ‘Desi Munda’ and we totally dote this ‘desi couple’!

Nick Jonas flaunted his desi swag every time he donned the traditional Indian Kurta. The popular musician owns a variety of designer kurtas, be it pre-wedding rituals or recent Karwa Chauth celebrations, he has it all covered. Nick looks suave in a kurta and perfectly compliments his ‘desi girl’. For one of their wedding rituals the couple was snapped twinning in cream-red traditional attires and it was totally dreamy.

Nick Jonas is a fan of Bollywood songs and we have seen the pop singer groove to a number of desi chartbusters. Priyanka had also revealed how Nick enjoys desi songs, “He is a complete Punjabi! He listens to Bollywood music before going on stage (during his live concerts). He keeps listening to music on a Hindi radio channel. He calls it his ‘hype music’. His dressing room has Bollywood music playing all the time. He just fell in love with India right from the time he visited the country.”

Nick Jonas has not just adapted to desi clothing but is also a fan of Indian delicacies. The pop singer reportedly is a fan of freshly cooked Paneer and Priyanka often packs some for Nick when she visits India. Nick also enjoys Butter Chicken and it is one of his favourites too. Apparently at their lavish wedding last year, Butter Chicken was a dish on the menu! Reports also suggested that when the couple was holidaying in Goa, Priyanka had specifically asked the chef to prepare the delicacy for Nick.

Nick Jonas has been celebrating Indian festivals with much enthusiasm. From enjoying Diwali with friends to decking up in his traditional best for Karva Chauth - Nick has truly emerged as a Desi Munda. He also penned a beautiful note for PeeCee, who was reportedly fasting for him on the occasion of Karva Chauth, “My wife is Indian. She is Hindu, and she is incredible in every way. She has taught me so much about her culture and religion. I love and admire her so much, and as you can see we have fun together.”
