Jolly LLB (2013) – The Sanjeev Nanda Hit-and-Run Case

Loosely inspired by the 1999 BMW hit-and-run case, Jolly LLB follows a small-time lawyer (Arshad Warsi) who takes on a powerful and corrupt legal system to fight for justice. The film draws from the real-life case where businessman Sanjeev Nanda was accused of running over six people with his BMW. No One Killed Jessica (2011) – The Jessica Lal Murder Case

Starring Vidya Balan and Rani Mukerji, No One Killed Jessica is inspired by the 1999 Jessica Lal murder case.
