Bollywood heroines roped in for period Telugu film

Nandamuri Balakrishna aka Balayya's 100th movie 'Gouthami Putra Sathakarni' will reportedly have a few Bollywood stars. Bringing yesteryear glamour to this period film, Hema Malini will be seen as Gautami Balashri, playing Satakarni's mother. According to reports, Balayya is on talks with a couple of Bollywood heroines to play the lead role.
The story, based on the ancient matriarchal society, will have Satakarni's character as the powerful mother.The director Krish Jagarlamudi, who recently bagged the National Film Award for his Telugu movie 'Kanche' is said to be working on the script of the movie. 'Gouthami Putra Sathakarni' will be produced by Rajiv Reddy, Bibo Srinivas and Sai Babu.
