With Unlock 4.0 underway, Bollywood actors, filmmakers and movie crews are gradually returning to the sets. The new normal during the pandemic includes smaller teams, stringent security measures, social distancing and addition of safety gear as well as PPE suits. While some B-Town stars have gone back to their movie sets, others are shooting for ad campaigns and dubbing for their films.
There are also some, who are promoting their soon-to-release movies.
Akshay Kumar, Huma Qureshi & Lara Dutta are shooting in the UKThe crew of 'Bellbottom', including Akshay Kumar, Huma Qureshi and Lara Dutta, was among the ones to take the lead, and now, slowly but surely, others are following suit. The crew flew to the UK to shoot the film in the first week of August. Akshay and Lara were also accompanied by their family on the work trip. After completing the mandatory quarantine period, the team rolled up their sleeves and got to work on August 20. They have been posting pictures from there all along.
Deepika Padukone shoots in Goa, while Ranveer Singh’s at work in MumbaiDeepika flew to Goa to start the shoot of her film directed by Shakun Batra, along with her co-actor Siddhant Chaturvedi. Meanwhile, her husband, Ranveer, was seen shooting a brand campaign at a studio in Mumbai.
It’s destination Goa for Ishaan Khatter & Ananya Panday, too'Khaali Peeli’s' lead pair, Ishaan and Ananya are in Goa to promote their upcoming film. They were recently clicked at the Mumbai airport sporting PPE suits and masks. Earlier, the duo was seen at a city studio.
Amitabh Bachchan starts filming post recovery from COVID-19After recovering from COVID-19, Bachchan resumed the shoot of the TV show, 'Kaun Banega Crorepati'. He is likely to start shooting for Ayan Mukerji’s 'Brahmastra' as well, which also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
A pause for Arjun KapoorOn September 1, Arjun Kapoor had shared a picture from the set of his forthcoming film with Rakul Preet on social media, saying, “Happy to just be back on set (sic).” However, the shoot had to be halted when he tested positive for COVID-19 on September 6. Meanwhile, Rakul flew to Hyderabad to shoot for a Telugu film. It’s still unclear whether Arjun and Rakul will resume the shoot of their movie soon. Arjun was in work mode since July, as he had shot for an ad campaign.
Taapsee Pannu is in Jaipur for her Tamil movieRecently, Taapsee shared a picture after a long hike in Jaipur. As per reports, she is in the Pink City for the shoot of her Tamil film with Vijay Sethupathi. In a recent interview, she had said that the start-to-finish schedule will be held over 28 days.

Madhuri Dixit Nene is back in front of the cameraMadhuri was spotted at a suburban studio a couple of days ago, all geared up to shoot again.
It’s dub now, shoot soon for Ranbir Kapoor & Alia BhattRanbir and Alia have started dubbing for their film 'Brahmastra', and they will start filming the final schedule of the movie soon. The schedule is expected to last for 10-15 days, during which a song will also be shot.

The actor, who has reportedly been diagnosed with lung cancer, has three projects on the floor. According to reports, he was shooting for his film with Ranbir Kapoor. He also dubbed for his Kannada movie. On September 15, he and wife Maanayata left for Dubai, where his kids have been staying for the past many months. He is expected to return to the city in a week.
John Abraham to head to LucknowJohn is expected to commence the shoot of his film, 'Satyamev Jayate 2', in Lucknow this month. Director Milap Zaveri had visited the city in August to scout locations, which will include the outskirts of Lucknow. While the first film of the franchise was shot in Mumbai, the director reworked the script of the sequel during the lockdown and moved the story to Lucknow from Mumbai. A date for the shoot has not been set yet.

He also wrapped up the shoot of the movie, 'Helmet', where he will be seen opposite Pranutan Bahl.

The actress shot for a commercial with a small crew. Raveena, too, shot an ad for which a minimum crew was present. In fact, she did her own make-up and hair.
Randeep Hooda returns to the dubbing studioRandeep, who recently underwent a leg surgery, got back to dubbing for 'Radhe'. The actor shared a selfie from the dubbing studio, and wrote, “Grateful to be back at work (sic).” The film, directed by Prabhudeva, sees him reuniting with his 'Kick' and 'Sultan' co-star, Salman Khan.
Bhumi Pednekar and Vidya Balan to resume work soonIn the coming weeks, more Bollywood stars will resume shoots for their respective projects. Next month, Bhumi will start the patchwork for her horror-thriller, 'Durgavati'. Around Diwali, Vidya will also return to face the camera, as the second schedule of her film, 'Sherni', begins.
