It’s a film that created more than just a buzz because not only was it based on a gay couple, but for the first time in Bollywood, explicit love making scenes between the gay couple were shown.
While Dunno Y...Na Jaane Kyun got mixed reviews when it was released, the film’s lead actor Yuvaraaj Parashar is ecstatic. He reveals, “The film’s become the first Bollywood film to be selected for the Tel Aviv International LGBT Film Festival.

The festival director has said that they have received entries in the past from Bollywood, but our film made it and my co-star Kapil Sharma and I are really excited to go to the festival.”
Speaking of his experience at the Sydney Film Festival, Yuvaraaj says, “Last year in October when we went with the film to the fest, we were nobodies. That is till our film was screened.” He adds with a laugh, “After one screening, Kapil and I were feeling like Salman and Shah Rukh! Everybody was recognizing us, meeting us and asking how this film was received back home in India etc. It was an experience I’ll never forget. I do hope the Israel experience is just as good!”
