Actor Suriya is all set for his next magnum opus 'Kanguva'. The pan India film is made on a massive budget and the makers recently shared a new update from the film. Taking to social media on Saturday, January 27, wishing actor Bobby Deol, who is playing the antagonist in the film, the makers introduced him as Udhiran with a new character poster. The post read, "Ruthless. Powerful. Unforgettable. Happy Birthday to our #Udhiran, #BobbyDeol sir."
Recently, while interacting with the media, Bobby Deol heaped praises on his co-star Suriya and said, “He is so humble and down to earth. He’s also a wonderful actor who does all of his stunts on his own.”
Under the direction of Siva, the cast of the film includes Suriya, Disha Patani, Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, and others. Devi Sri Prasad has composed the film's music, and a sneak peek into the movie, featuring a video and poster unveiling Suriya's character, has already been shared by the makers.
The storyline is set 1500 years in the past, showcasing diverse cultures from across India. This imaginative fiction incorporates numerous references and facts related to ancient Tamil culture. Anticipated for a Summer 2024 theatrical release, the film will be presented in 3D across 10 different languages. Notably, it marks the Kollywood debut of Disha Patani and Bobby Deol.
