Bobby apologises for the drunk act

Director Samir Karnik of Top Angle Productions wanted to shoot an integral scene of “Yamla Pagla Deewana”, produced by Nitin Manmohan of One Up Entertainment, in the evening.
That meant shooting a four-minute scene in 20 minutes! The scene required Bobby Deol to drink alcohol while performing with his father and brother.
In order to make the scene look realistic, Samir instructed Bobby to consume a bottle of beer before arriving on the sets.While enacting the scene, Bobby consumed another bottle and knocked off the scene in one take, and left immediately as he couldn’t face his father and brother in a drunk state. The whole scene was shot on a two camera set up so as not to lose out on the rawness of the shot. The next morning Bobby apologised to his father and brother for his ‘drunk act’. “YPD” is all set to hit the theatres on January 14.
