Bips upbeat about India-SA match
While Bipasha will be present at the music launch of 'Dum Maaro Dum' at Nagpur's stadium, where India is playing against South Africa today, Deepika will miss it.
While Bipasha will be present at the music launch of ‘Dum Maaro Dum’ at Nagpur’s stadium, where India is playing against South Africa today, Deepika will miss it.
While the Cricket World Cup has certainly taken over the film world, Bollywood is now finding smart ways to connect the two. Today the Indian cricket team will be playing against South Africa in Nagpur and filmmaker Rohan Sippy has thought of an innovative way to promote his film Dum Maaro Dum on this platform.
The music of the film will be released at the stadium between the innings today.
Bipasha Basu who plays the female lead in Dum Maaro Dum sounds elated about the event. “I am in Nagpur for the India v/s South Africa match”, says Bips. “The whole Dum Maaro Dum team is here for the music release. The audio will be launched between the innings. It’s an exciting day ahead!”
Unfortunately the other actress of the film Deepika Padukone who is making more news despite doing a special appearance just in an item song won’t be able to make it for the event. Turns out, one of her very close friends is getting married this week in Thailand, and Deepika changed all her plans for the week, and is flying down to Thailand to be with her friend on her special day. “In fact, she even changed her shooting schedule for Aarakshan a bit, and shot her parts before schedule so she could travel”, says a source closely associated with Deepika.
When asked director Rohan Sippy said, “We would have loved to have Deepika at the music launch as the title song is picturised on her and she looks sizzling in the song. Her fans would have been delighted to see her.”
