She is too busy with her film commitments to take time off to walk the ramp now, but modelling comes easy to Bipasha Basu. After all, her career started on the ramp. But the Bengali beauty is busy these days shooting for films, although she really enjoyed the shooting stint with Bikram Saluja for this photo shoot.
The young actress who has taken Bollywood by storm, is keen on doing a Bengali film.
“At the moment, I am really tied up with my commitments here in Mumbai. I am all booked for the next two years. But I would love to do a Bengali film if I get the time. Perhaps, when I have completed the films that I have already signed, I might consider working on a Bengali film. Of course, it would depend on the script and my role. The director is also important because it’s only when all the ingredients match that a good film can be made, explained Bipasha.
Bipasha, in fact, was offered a role in Goutam Ghose’s Abar Aranye, but the problem of dates cropped up. “When I have given dates already to other films, I cannot go back on my word to them. At present, I am busy shooting each and every day. Where is the time to do anything else? In fact, even if I have to meet my parents, they come down and visit me where I am shooting, but I can’t come down to Kolkata, she said.
At present, Bipasha is busy in the cooler climes of Canada, shooting the last stages of her film Aitbaar, with Jism co-star John Abraham and Amitabh Bachchan for company. “Aitbaar is indeed a very special film for me and I hope it does really well in the box-office, added Bipasha.
