Big B to do a voice over for Mike Pandey’s documentary

Amitabh Bachchan will be doing a voiceover for a documentary film 'Ecology That Sustains The Tiger'. The 45-minute documentary is being made by Mike Pandey in partnership with the Films Division.
We had earlier reported about John Abraham and Amitabh Bachchan working for Mike Pandey’s documentary The Return Of The Tiger. Mike told us, “I am presently working on two documentaries – Ecology That Sustains The Tiger and The Return Of The Tiger.Ecology… will have Amitabh Bachchan talking to people and asking them to protect nature. The Return Of The Tiger has John Abraham playing the anchor’s role and Mr Bachchan’s voiceover.”
Speaking about Ecology, the filmmaker told us, “The documentary is about how every species created by nature plays an important role in the ecosystem. It explains the interdependence of various life forms in an ecosystem and also talks about the role of a tiger. For the movie, we have travelled to Ranthambore, Kaziranga, Corbett and Mudumalai. We want to cover as many places as we can. We are also hoping for a general release for the movie which will be complete in another eight to nine months.”
The filmmaker also stressed on the importance of having celebrities on board for documentaries. “There is a section of audience that watches mainstream cinema. We need to attract them towards documentaries and that can be done by celebs,” he said.
