Bhumi Pednekar reveals why she wore 'Love' customised saree for 'Badhaai Do' promotions

Bhumi Pednekar and Rajkummar Rao are currently on a promotional spree for their upcoming film, 'Badhaai Do'. Recently, they appeared on Kapil Sharma's comedy show. For the show, Bhumi wore a customised saree.

Her saree featured the word 'love' woven with a red thread in different languages. The host Kapil was all praise for Bhumi's look. He said that she is already beautiful and on top of that she is wearing a saree.He further asked the actress what was written on her saree. Pednekar revealed that her saree has love written in different languages.

Bhumi Pednekar further revealed that whenever she comes to his show wearing a saree, her movies become successful. After that Rajkummar chipped in and said that you should have said this before even he would have worn a saree. His epic reply left everyone in splits.

Speaking about 'Badhaai Do', it is a spiritual sequel to Junglee Pictures' 'Badhaai Ho' from 2018. Featuring Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar in unique roles, the film depicts a marriage of convenience. It is a light-hearted spin on an unusual problem faced by a middle-class home in the heartland of India. The film also stars Chum Darang, Seema Pahwa, Sheeba Chadha, Lovleen Mishra, Nitish Pandey and Shashi Bhushan in key roles. Directed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni, 'Badhaai Do' will release in cinemas on February 11.
