recently, has been using some Hindi one-liners for her posts on Instagram lately. When we met the actress and asked her about it, she revealed, “Chando Daadi inspired the one-liners. The captions are all things that she spoke or rather speaks. Muh mein raam haath mein kaam, shareer boodha hota hai mann nahi...these are lines that she actually says and I wanted to place them on my Insta posts. She’s a witty woman, and also very intelligent. She speaks some epic sentences which you can’t miss while talking to her.”

Elaborating on Chandro Daadi, she told us, “Apart from the fact that she has that personality, her experiences have also driven her mind in a big way. Between the three women in the house, they had some 40 children who called all of them maa. Hans khel ke life kaati hai. They are happy women who have toiled hard -- bhatti sambhali hai, kheton mein kaam kiya hai, ghar ki lippayi ki hai, bacche jane hain. They’ve done it all with a smile which is so evident in the way they are even now.”

, and their spirit have rubbed off on her also, Bhumi said, “I’ve learnt how not to differentiate between people. During the three months that we lived in that village with them, I realised that they leave their doors open for anyone who wants to come in. At any given time, they’re prepared to feed 50 people. The women in that belt of India are physically and mentally very strong. Look at their attire and body language -- they wear shirts and ghagras made with 32 metres of cloth, and their bodies are almost as strong as men. Even their postures are like that -- walking with the chest out. Despite leading a happy life, both the daadis felt something was lacking. They questionned the fact that if their sons can shoot why can’t their daughters and grand-daughters do that too? That’s how they started air pistol shooting! Theirs is a real fairytale life.”
