As India Today stated, reports suggest the date chosen for the teaser launch carries personal significance for Akshay Kumar. The actor, who was born on September 9, is believed to consider the number nine especially lucky. Sources suggest the actor often incorporates the number into various aspects of his life, including his vehicles' number plates. Because of this connection, releasing the teaser on March 9 is said to be a meaningful choice linked to the actor’s fondness for the number.

A reunion that fans have awaited

‘Bhooth Bangla’ also marks the return of the popular Akshay Kumar–Priyadarshan collaboration after several years.
