‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ vs Singham Again’: ' Its a great Diwali for the Hindi film industry...', say experts

It’s a great day for Bollywood as the biggies ‘Singham Again’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ has hit the big screens, adding fire to this year’s Diwali. Both the movies are receiving good reviews from the audiences, and in an exclusive chat with trade analyst Taran Adarsh, he said that both the movies are working well at the box office.

Taran Adarsh told us exclusively, “Its a great Diwali for the Hindi film industry because both the films ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ and ‘Singham Again’ has opened to a thunderous response at the box office.” He further said that he is confident about the magnificent opening box office numbers for both the movies.

He added, “ The opening day numbers are going to be huge and the combined business of both the films on day 1 which is Today, Friday is going to be historical. So that will show the real potential of theatrical business."

Coming to the genre of the films, Taran said that both the movies have advantages on their own and have the potential to make wonders at the box office.

“Having said that, both the films are opposite in terms of content . One is a horror comedy , the other film is a masala entertainer and both the films worked at the box office. Both the films have strong merits . One hopes and prays that they continue the momentum for the rest of the days. As of now the start is superb,” Taran Adarsh concluded.

On the other hand, Raj Bansal said, "Both the Diwali releases, 'Bhool Bhulaiya 3' and 'Singham Again' has opened very well today and the reports are also very good. So, we are expecting some great results."

Akshaye Rathi also chimed in. He said, 'Bhool Bhulaiya 3' and 'Singham' have both opened to a flying start, and both of these are huge franchises. It looks like between the two films. we are looking at anywhere between 65 to 80 crores of business in one day alone, and that too on Lakshmi Pooja day which is not supposed to be very conducive for the business."
