Aamir Khan, who is known to actively abstain from lavish bashes, film premieres and extravagant dos, is changing.
According to a source, Aamir, for the first time, is planning an elaborate premiere of his nephew���s debut film Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na. He is quite busy chalking out the guest list, and on top of it are the Big B and SRK, among others.
Given the sullenness he���s shared with both Big B and Shah Rukh Khan lately, Aamir's recent move comes as a surprise.
Says a well-placed source in the industry, ���Aamir has never hosted any event or party, neither has he celebrated the launches or the success of his films. Earlier, he had decided to host a success party for his Taare Zameen Par, but he changed his mind saying that it may appear as though he was blowing his own trumpet. But now, he's very keen on hosting the very first premiere of his life for Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na.���
Our source informs us that he���s also preparing an elaborate guest list. ���Aamir is excited about his first do and has the biggest names on his list like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, apart from his personal friends and professional associates. Aamir is also planning to invite socialites and biggies from the political and industrial sector,��� adds the source.
He has also made sure that all the arrangements for the do are in top order as he is expecting over 2,000 guests. ���He is also booking a multiplex for the premier and has already ordered them to shut it on the big day so that necessary arrangements could be made for security reasons,��� adds our source.
Though Aamir remained unavailable for comment, Ranjan Singh, spokesperson of the multiplex, confirmed the news and said, ���Yes, we have received instructions from Aamir Khan for elaborate preparations for hosting the premi��re of his film. It will certainly be the biggest premi��re that we have hosted so far. Aamir is personally looking into the details and has been giving us the all the detailed guidelines.���
